While snowy photos are enchanting, proper preparation is key to ensure you and your partner stay warm and comfortable throughout the shoot! Here are five essential tips to help you prepare for your snowy winter photo shoot:

Pack a thermos of hot water or tea to stay hydrated and warm from the inside out (sharing a cozy drink makes for a perfect photo op). You can also keep it under your clothes or against your person to warm up between setups. Hand warmers are also a must-have to keep your hands and pockets cozy between shots. And a good pair of snowshoes or boots with good traction to navigate snowy terrain safely is always key- heels and snow do not mix!
